Background:
Cliffe Woods is a modern building on a greenfield site. The school moved to its current location and changed to being a primary school in 1994. Since then close links have been developed with local secondary schools, in music and art particularly, and the school has participated in the many sporting opportunities within Medway. Particular strengths are swimming, basketball and football, in all of which the school has achieved recent success. An active parent-teacher association raises money for the school and pupils are encouraged to raise funds for charities on a regular basis, often in conjunction with local churches. The school aims to provide a calm, positive and purposeful environment.
