Background:
The Milstead and Frinsted Church of England (Voluntary Controlled) Primary School was founded in 1848 and is still partly housed in the original building although there is now a modern extension, which was completed in 2000. The extensive grounds include an all weather playground, a play field and a tree trail, which ensure that all pupils can take part in a variety of sporting and physical activities. The school is also a member of the South Sittingbourne Cluster of small primary schools, a lively liaison group that offers the benefit of joint activities such as sport and theatre visits. The school aims to promote understanding of the benefit of exercise and a healthy life style. The school is a caring community and aims to help each child realise their full potential, by promoting the highest educational and Christian values in all aspects of school life.
