Bligh is a community junior school for boys and girls aged seven to 11 years. The school's accommodation consists of 12 classrooms, large hall, which doubles as a gymnasium and dining hall, a library area and a computer suite. Each classroom has a computer terminal linked to a school network with access to the internet. Adjacent to the building are a music mobile classroom, playing field and two playground areas. A new computer suite and library are scheduled for completion and improvements to the administration block are planned. The school is organised into four-year groups with three classes per year.
