Oak Trees is a 'village school in an urban setting'. All pupils live in the five roads which surround the school and there is a strong sense of community as a result. Despite its town setting, the school has 'lovely grounds' which offer wooded areas, an adventure playground and two regular playgrounds. A breakfast club is offered at the school.
