Park Wood Junior School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is seven to 11. The school is situated on an attractive site in the middle of park wood bounded on its northern side by Foxburrow Wood. The school is designated a community school and receives its funding from Medway council. It provides many valuable activities which take place outside the classroom, both during lunchtime and after-school including: art and craft, choir, cricket, dance, football, gymnastics, netball, pottery, ski-ing, swimming, guitar, korfball and technology. The school aims to develop a certain confidence, a sense of personal excellence and a desire to make full use of their own skills and aptitudes.
