Background:
Selling Church of England Primary School was opened in April 1872 and is a Church of England Controlled School. There are four distinct buildings on school site. The main school building, which contains three classrooms and the school library. The two more modern buildings contain the early years and infant classrooms in one and selling playgroup in the other. Outside it has a large school field, a grassed play area for the younger children, two traditional playgrounds, a butterfly garden and an environmental arts project. It is situated in the middle of the countryside and surrounded by green fields and orchards. There are certain activities organised by the school such as swimming, residential and day trips, visiting authors, poets and drama groups.
