Background:
St Bartholomew's is a voluntary aided primary school admitting boys and girls of five to 11 years of age. The school was opened in Swanley in 1969. In order to deliver a broad and balanced education the curriculum is enhanced by a variety of visits arranged to places of interest. Children regularly participate in art and drama and music events. There are other activities outside school time such as a reading club, chess and French. The sporting activities include cricket, football, netball and country dancing. The school aims to provide a caring and Christian environment based on Gospel values to educate children to the highest possible standard.
