Capel Primary School is a non-denominational mixed school, which caters for pupils from five to 11 years. The school'serves the Parish of Capel, which includes Five Oak Green, Tudeley, Whetsted, Colts Hill and a number of small hamlets. It is surrounded by farmland and looks out onto hop fields and grazing land. Recently a purpose-built Key Stage 1 classroom has been added to buildings, which has a soft outside area. Together in partnership with the CSA an outside adventure area has also been created. The school has a record keeping system which tracks the progress of each child especially in the core subjects and informs teachers of the next stage of development. It offers a wide range of after-school club activities for children to join in on a voluntary basis.
