Background:

Temple School is a secondary school for boys. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 16. Temple School was built for the Rochester education committee in 1935 on the Temple Farm estate, named after the Medieval order of the Knights Templars. It was opened on 10th January 1935 and the official opening took place on 22nd May 1936. The school believes that everyone should have the chance to participate in all activities, whether curricular or extra-curricular. There are two gymnasia and fitness room and extensive outdoor areas, which facilitate the implementation of games and activities. The school aims to offer a happy, safe and secure environment in a family atmosphere.
