Fulston Manor is a mixed, wide ability school, offering a comprehensive education for pupils between the ages of 11 and 18. The school has enjoyed an excellent reputation founded upon the outstanding academic achievements of its students and the emphasis placed by the school upon the maintenance of standards of conduct. The purpose-built sixth form block houses a large common room, toilets, lockers, offices and teaching rooms. The school has a library, a five room information and communication technology suite, science laboratory, food technology room and performing arts suite, incorporating a hall, dance/drama studio, two music rooms, four practice rooms, a control room and recording studio. The school has a wide range of clubs and activities including recorder groups, choirs, jazz band, art and design, design and technology, drama club, computing and keyboard skills and dance club. The school has close links with grammar schools. The school aims to provide a sense of purpose within a relaxed and supportive environment.
