Background:
St Peter's Church of England Primary School is situated in the heart of the historic village of Aylesford, close to the Church of St Peter and St Paul. The school caters for children of four to 11 years of age. It is housed in a beautiful Victorian building at Mount Pleasant and the old vicarage, which has been renamed 'The Lodge'. The school has recently developed a research room equipped with 16 personal computers and all classrooms have their own computer. The school provides a variety of extra-curricular activities after-school and during lunchtime. Clubs have been run for netball, football, cricket, computers, recorders, chess, environmental work, gardening, crafts and dance/drama. The school aims to provide a caring, secure and stimulating learning environment in which all members of the school community are valued and respected in accordance with a Christian ethos.
