Stone St Mary's CE Primary School is a voluntary controlled school in the Parish of St Mary's Church, Stone. It was originally founded in the 1860's in a building near to St Mary's Church. The present building dates from the 1960's with two further classrooms added in 1994. The school aims to provide broad and balanced curriculum. The school is fortunate in having a large playing field and two hard surfaced playground areas. It encourages the children to participate in activities outside school hours to extend their experiences. The school aims to serve its community by providing an excellent education for pupils of all abilities and backgrounds in the context of Christian belief and practice.
