Background:
Warden House Primary School is a mixed infant and junior school taking boys and girls aged five to 11 years old. The school is set in large, pleasant grounds, which offer room for numerous sports and activities. There are two main buildings. The old building provides seven classrooms, while its new extension houses five classes with a valuable activity area where children can work. There is also a large hall, which is used for assemblies, physical education, drama, music, school productions and lunch. The school is fortunate in having both a specific environmental area complete with a pond and large and diverse grounds. A full and varied programme of extra-curricular activities is provided throughout the year. These include netball, football, gymnastics, swimming and other physical activities. The school aims to offer a secure and stimulating environment.
