Background:
Hothfield School caters for boys and girls throughout the whole of the primary age range. Each child feels valued and plays an integral part in the day-to-day life of the school. The school is in the centre of the village with extensive grounds. The buildings consist of a lovely Victorian hall, an information and communication technology suite, library area and three spacious modern classrooms. The school grounds include both hard and soft play areas, a wild-life garden and a large field which is used for football, cricket, rounders and athletics. There are five computers in the computer suite linked to the internet and stand-alone personal computers in each of the classrooms. The school is a small village school with a family atmosphere, enabling close links between children, school adults, parents and the community. The school aims to provide challenging learning opportunities whilst celebrating each child's achievements.
