Background:

Founded in 1904 as first county grammar school for girls in Kent; moved to current purpose-built school in 1912; imposing facade with central tower and coat of arms. Facilities include technology block, science laboratories, dance studio, two new music rooms, language laboratory, textiles and art rooms, and drama studio. Sports facilities include weights room and covered swimming pool.
