Background:

Goodnestone Church of England is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is five to 11. The school is housed in an attractive Early Victorian building in the centre of Goodnestone, a small village set in the picturesque Kent countryside. Originally, a one-roomed building, the school has expanded over the past 163 years and now has three classrooms, a traditional playground, an adventure playground and a new wildlife and fragrant garden. A range of extra-curricular activities are offered to pupils at lunchtime and after-school. These activities include chess, cricket, football and hockey. The school aims to create a happy, caring and stimulating learning environment in which all children can grow in self-esteem and fulfil their potential as human beings.
